Hardware’s Required

  • Raspberry Pi 3 model B
  • 5V 2A Micro USB Power Supply for Pi
  • 16GB/32GB Class 10 micro SD Card
  • HDMI Cable
  • Wifi/Ethernet Cable
  • Keyboard for Pi
  • Mouse for Pi

Network Requirements

  • Internet to download packages

Implementation

Download and Install Windows 10 IoT Core Dashboard

  • Download Windows 10 IoT Core

Open Dashboard and Click on Set up a new device

  • Set up a new device

Insert micro SD Card to Laptop

Select option as below with custom Device name and Password

  • Set up a new device

Verify the SD Card Erasing message and click on Continue

  • Set up a new device

Dashboard downloads and install Windows 10 IoT Core to SD Card

  • Download Windows 10 IoT Core
  • Installation in progress
  • SD Card is ready

Take out SD Card and insert back to Raspberry Pi and Boot

  • Boot started

  • Default image

  • Language Selection

  • Connect wifi

  • Ready to prototype

Go back to Dashboard and select My devices to view Connected Raspberry Pi

  • My devices

Click on Try More samples

  • My devices

Depoly and run Hello world app

  • Deploy and Run

Application runs on Raspberry Pi

  • Deploy and Run

Stop Application

  • Stop
